Hi, my name is Henry Egloff and I’m a web designer / website developer, graphic designer, multimedia artist and part time teacher based in Byron Bay Australia.
I hold a degree in design (RMIT 1996) and have been working as a professional designer for over 20 years. I have also been teaching web design, graphic design, and coding part-time at the TAFE North Coast Institute of Technology since 2007.
I created my first website using Flash in 1999 and during my career I have worked in Sydney, London and San Francisco. I have created websites for Quincy Jones and Ravi Shankar and have received various awards for my web design work.
I created Bangalow Web Design to promote my web design services for my local area, and my home town at the time, Bangalow.
When it comes to web design my philosophy is to create websites that are ultra-streamlined and that deliver their message without a lot of unnecessary effects slowing things down.
Rather than using prefabricated WordPress themes I design and code custom built WordPress themes from scratch. This allows me to fully customise the WordPress admin area in order to make my websites as easy as possible to manage. It also means that my WordPress websites do not need to load in a lot of third party scripts which is something that slows a lot of WordPress websites down. I do everything possible to ensure that my websites load quickly and this is important for both user engagement and search engine optimisation.
You can find more examples of my multimedia art and design work on my personal website at: henryegloff.com.
Otherwise, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’m more than happy to talk with you about your project.
